Oppo, every time someone else drives my car (valets, car wash attendees, significant other) my side mirrors go back to the default adjustment from my blindspot adjustment.
Does this happen to anyone else? Do you still rock the side mirrors the regular way, or the wide way? Thoughts?
Maybe I should just buy a car with those as switchable preset memory settings?

I’d tell people to stop touching my mirrors.

I feel you, but whoever is driving the car NEEDS to have the mirrors adjusted their way.
I really do appreciate it when other people leave my favorite settings alone, but I’d actually prefer if they didn’t handicap themselves. I’d hate for my car to get scratched just because they couldn’t see the other car.

I’ve gotten into the habit of asking them politely not to mess with it, but if it’s going to impact their driving to do what they need to do. Until that self driving car comes through maybe the memory presets are the way to go.

They should return it to what it was after driving it then.

It’s hard to gauge exactly where someone else’s seated eye level is, though. But yeah, I’d appreciate it if they’d at least try. Sometimes I wish my car had programmable memory settings.
